Official course description: The basic orientation of the course is toward understanding the functioning of the body as a set of homeostatic mechanisms. Particular emphasis is placed on membrane potentials, muscle, circulation, respiration, digestion, the kidney, the control of metabolism and acid-based balance. Prereq: BIOL 3611 and CHEM 2031/2081, 2038/2088, 2061/2091 and 2068/2098 with a C- or higher. Max hours: 4 Credits. Semester Hours: 4 to 4
