Please explain why the answer to this is nuclear charge? I am not sure how to properly conceptualize this?

Hey there! The question is basically asking why the 1s subshell is much more attracted to the nucleus in Ar than in He. The only logical answer is that because the nuclear charge is much larger in Ar due to more protons in its nucleus so the electrons in the orbital are attracted more thus keeping the orbital much closer. I hope this makes sense.
