Find the pH of a 0.100 M NaCHO2 solution. The salt completely dissociates into Na+(aq) and CHO2−(aq), and the Na+ ion has no acid or base properties.
Hi, I can't come up with the equation in this question, Can you please explain to me how to do that ?
when we set the equation it will be CHO2^- + H2O --> HCHO2 + OH^- . isn't CHO2^- a weak acid, or in this case we consider it to be conjugate base and its acid will be HCHO2 ? PLEASE EXPLAIN
