Discuss qualitatively the effectiveness of the separation identifying peaks (if any) in the IR that appear to result from the lower boiling solvent.

Fractional Distillation is a more accurate way of finding differences in boiling points because of the increase of surface area because of the copper placed in the head. It will also give you a sharper more precise peak on the graph between the boiling points.
