On some of my homework solutions, my textbook puts a dipole moment on Carbon and Hydrogen and sometimes it doesn't.

Is Carbon and Hydrogen non polar bonds? Do they have a dipole moment or a net dipole moment??

Hi @stacyp8 ! Yes, they are generally non-polar bonds and the small dipole moment will be pointing towards C.
