Uniformly accelerated motion (UAM) equations:
vf = v0 +at∆x= (vf+v02)t∆x= v0t+12at2 vf2= v02 +2a∆x
Δx = (vf + v0)t/2 = (20 + 0)10/2 = 100 m
D = 70 cm(1m/100cm) = 0.7 m
A car with 70-cm -diameter tires accelerates uniformly from rest to 20 m/s in 10s.
How many times does each tire rotate?
