Official course description: This is a quantitative introduction to the basic physical laws of nature. Thermal physics, electromagnetism, and relativity are emphasized. Concepts are developed through lectures, demonstrations, computer simulations, laboratory activities, and problem solving. Qualitative reasoning is emphasized and quantitative problem-solving skills are developed. Concepts from differential and integral calculus are developed and used. CAS-D. 4 Lec. 1 Lab.
