Do I need to pay to create an account?

Nope. Creating an account is completely free. You'll have access to half of our videos for free, as well as receive 3 tokens to unlock more videos once you verify your account.

But what are tokens?

Tokens allow you to unlock our example videos and practice problems. Each token unlocks one video or practice problem.

How can I get more tokens?

Once you run out of tokens, you can invite your classmates with a special link that will reward you more tokens once they sign up. You can also subscribe to get unlimited access to all of our content.

Wait, but why isn't Clutch free?

We put tons of work into providing students with the most helpful and relevant content available anywhere. While there are plenty of free resources available online or on campus, they aren't always catered toward your specific needs. We aim to break every concept down to its simplest form to help you grasp and actually understand them easier and learn with the pace of your class. Plus, we're running out of ramen noodles to feed our tutors.

If I subscribe, how does billing work?

You will be charged the first payment as soon as you subscribe. Depending on the plan you selected, the initial amount will vary. For the monthly plan, you will be charged once a month. For the quarterly plan, you will be charged once every 3 months. For the annual plan, you will be charged once every 12 months. Please keep in mind that for the quarterly and annual plan, you will be charged for the entire period upfront.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you'll still have access to our videos for the remainder of the plan's length. That means that for example, if you selected the annual plan (12 months of access) and cancel a month after, you will still have access for 11 months.

What if I don't want to subscribe?

You can continue to watch our free concept videos. Also, you can invite your friends to receive more tokens and unlock more example videos or practice problems.

What do I do if my textbook is not listed?

That's okay! We have a "Clutch Textbook" that has all of our videos. It's organized by chapters that our tutors created. You can also search for a topic using the search bar.

What if some chapters are missing from the textbook I use?

We're doing our best to release all of the chapters in every textbook. We'll be letting all our students know as we release new videos.

Can I watch videos from more than one subject?

Yep! Just click on "Add Subjects" on your dashboard and you'll be able to access videos from other subjects.

Why do you ask for my school?

We love to make the sign up process as easy as possible. If we know what textbooks your school uses, we'll offer them as an option. Also, as we launch more social features, we can connect you to other students in your school.

What if my school isn't there?

That's okay! You can submit your school when you're signing up and our team will add it.

Can I download the chapter print-outs?

Yes! Once you create an account, you can download all of our chapter print-outs.

How should I use the chapter print-outs?

All of our chapter print-outs follow what the tutors do in the videos. Our students usually download, print and then annotate them as they watch videos. They're awesome to review later before your exam!

Can I ask my tutor questions?

Yes! We love helping students. You can ask questions right below our videos. Your study expert will get back to you within 1 business day and you'll receive an email notification.

Will Clutch work for me if I am in high school?

A lot of high school AP teachers are recommending Clutch to their students. From what we've heard so far, it works well for AP classes too!

Can I pause my subscription?

At the moment, we don't have a feature allows you to pause your subscription.

What do I do over the breaks when I'm not using my subscription?

If you're subscribed to a monthly or quarterly plan, you can always suspend your subscription to restart on a later date. Suspending allows you to cancel and get automatically billed on a later date. Annual subscribers have unlimited access for 365 days!

Why do I keep getting logged out and shown a message that someone else is on my account?

It's likely that your account may be logged into through another device.
