The figure shows 3 ball-and-stick molecular geometries. Geometry A has a central atom; one atom is above of it and another is below. 4 other atoms form a cross with the central atom and these 4 atoms lie in the plane which is perpendicular to the plane of the first-mentioned 3 atoms. Geometry B has a central atom and 4 other atoms which form a cross with the central atom. Geometry C has a central atom and 2 atoms that form along with the central atom a right angle. Another 1 atom is above the central atom, and one more is below, in the plane which is perpendicular to the plane of the 3 first-mentioned atoms.
