Maybe the problem isn’t that we are bad at learning. Maybe chemistry is just too hard. Maybe everyone has the same problems.
Chemistry relies on math
Chemistry needs algebra, geometry and even some calculus. If math wasn’t your strong subject chemistry can get harder.
Chemistry isn’t a regular class
Chemistry has a class, a lab, pre-lab, problems, the list doesn’t end. The worst part is it still counts for the same credits compared to the easy classes
Chemistry needs visualization skills
Why do I need to visualize? Because I don’t know how one can understand atoms, molecules, structures otherwise.

Like math, chemistry has lots of rules. These rules however get complicated as they involve multiple concepts across chemistry.
