How is it possible to contrast chloroplasts and mitochondria?

Chloroplasts and mitochondria are known to generate ATP. Aside from this, there are still a number of similarities between these two organelles. Both organelles contain DNA apart from their cells' nuclear DNA. Despite having related functions (i.e. ATP generation), both can still be found in plant cells. However, only the mitochondria are present in animal cells.
